Introducing RISE (RFI + WISE)
RISE is a combination of the two most innovative Ethereum tokens, tokens re-imagining the concepts of the DeFI yield generation: $RFI and $WISE
What is RFI?
At its core, RFI charges a 1% transaction fee and re-distributes that fee to existing RFI holders instantly and automatically at the time of each transaction.
Unique features of the RFI smart contract allow certain addresses like the Uniswap pool or exchange wallets to be blocked from earning fees.
Because of this, 100% of the fees generated go to holders of the token. The percentage of fees you earn is calculated by the percentage of RFI that you own among holders. This generates a much higher yield than would otherwise be possible.
There is no team or central party that has to award the fees. There is no interface to claim the fees. No action needs to be taken on your part other than to hold RFI in a wallet you control.
What is WISE?
WISE Token, or WISE, is a decentralized, transparent, trustless, interest-bearing, bond-like token that features automatic liquidity.
WISE token and the WISE ecosystem primarily work on the concept of Staking, which involves allowing the holders to earn interest by locking up their funds (tokens) for a period of time. WISE works more or less like bonds and CDs (Certificates of deposit), but it’s better in terms of security, liquidity and profitability.
WISE is also superior to traditional deposits like bonds and CDs in more than one way.
It gives you better returns than the two, along with the freedom to withdraw anytime you want. A holder/staker has complete flexibility in choosing the time period for which they wish to stay invested. Holders can withdraw their interest at any time, weekly, daily, or at once, during the staking period.
Being a decentralized and trustless system, it offers better security and lower risk compared to traditional deposits. Moreover, the returns are higher than the rest. Also, it offers higher flexibility and more liquidity compared to other investment options.
The problem.
While both RFI and WISE have been extremely innovative within yield-farming protocols, there are two glaring problems with the both: RFI rewards are very slow compared to staking rewards, and WISE rewards require you to “claim” your rewards (which costs gas and can be very expensive).
RISE up to the solution!
RISE is a fork of WISE with RFI-style holding rewards. Each RISE transaction is taxed 1.5%, which is automatically re-distributed to all existing RISE holders instantly by our decentralized, self running smart contract (no claiming rewards needed!).
With RISE you get sustainable APY exposure by staking, while also gaining MORE rewards just from hodling your staking rewards previously claimed!
Fairer Distribution
The first buyer of RFI was able to buy 8% of the total supply in a single transaction for just $0.004 per RFI. Now, it’s not the low price that’s the concern, but the fact that one single person controlled almost one tenth of the circulating supply.
From our analysis of different token launch models in the recent DeFi boom, we concluded that projects with low individual pre-sale contribution caps performed the best in the short and long term. This makes sense because an individual cap implies no early whales who can easily manipulate the price and kill the project early on.
